Mission

The United Way of Greater Texarkana, Inc. mission is to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another.
United Way values the effective and efficient accountable use of resources, and responds to the changing needs of our community. Together with the Partner agencies, in assessing our community's health and human services priorities; we can develop quality of life opportunities to every member of the community through reaching out to civic, government, and social organizations.

To do this we will:

• Energize and inspire people to make a difference
• Craft human care agendas within and across our communities
• Build coalitions around these agendas
• Increase investments in these agendas by expanding and diversifying our own development efforts and supporting those of others 
•  Measure, communicate, and learn from the impact of our efforts
• Reflect the diversity of the communities we serve
